Kings Dominion Day – Travel

Driving Directions

• Kings Dominion is located just off Exit 98 on Interstate 95, 20 minutes north of Richmond.  Get individual directions for your route here.
• Downtown Richmond is easily accessible from both I-95 from the north and south, and I-64 from the east and west.
• GRTC runs a bus from downtown Richmond to Kings Dominion for $5 several times per day – details available here.

Train/Bus

Amtrak serves Richmond with 3 stations in the area:

• Ashland (112 N Railroad Ave., Ashland, VA 23005)
• Staples Mill (7519 Staples Mill Rd., Richmond, VA 23228)
• Main Street Station (1500 E. Main St., Richmond, VA 23219)

Megabus runs routes to Richmond at Main Street Station, while the Greyhound station is at 2910 North Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23230.
